At the GENDORF Chemical Park, Archroma’s approx. 70 employees produce and develop new products based on short chain fluortelomers, which are sold to the global market as specialty products for producing and highly refining the surfaces for textile, paper, leather, and stone applications. These fluoroplastics also play a major role in the manufacture of medical textiles and high-quality protective face masks to ensure the widest possible protection against viruses.

Clariant operates its largest site worldwide with around 730 employees in the GENDORF chemical park in the "Bavarian chemical triangle". The focus of production is on chemical primary and intermediate products, which are further processed in the internal network and sold to industrial customers. The products from Gendorf primarily include basic and auxiliary materials for the production of detergents, fabric softeners, industrial and household cleaners, cosmetics, body care products and disinfectants, aircraft de-icing agents, heat transfer and brake fluids, and for oil production and processing. The most important raw materials for these products are ethylene from petroleum, fatty acids and fatty alcohols, both of which are mainly obtained from renewable sources. In addition, Clariant operates research and development departments, a technical center for process development and a department for quality assurance and analytics in Gendorf. The focus of research and development is to develop new products quickly and close to the market and to bring them to production maturity.

Clariant's focus is on innovation and sustainability. The company, which operates in the field of specialty chemicals, is represented on five continents with more than 100 group companies. Around 13,300 employees work for Clariant, which was founded in 1995. The head office is in Pratteln, near Basel, Switzerland.

Dyneon GmbH, a wholly owned 3M subsidiary, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fluoropolymers and specialized additives. All Dyneon sites for design-engineering, development, manufacturing, and service are certified to the world-wide quality standard. The production facilities were also certified in accordance with the world-wide standard for environmental management systems.

Global Amines is a joint venture of Clariant and Wilmar with headquarters in Singapore and own production facilities in China and in Germany/Gendorf. The company combines Wilmar’s integrated agricultural business model and strong position for plant-based fats and oils with Clariant’s technical know-how, well-established market presence for amines and amine derivatives, and the access to amine derivatives across more than a dozen Clariant production facilities around the globe. This makes Global Amines the first fully integrated and competitive company along the value chain from renewable raw materials to selected amine derivatives. Based on a fully global orientation, the company supports customers in all regions and continuously looks for growth opportunities, with the objective of becoming a leader in the markets for fatty amines and selected amine derivatives. Since the company’s foundation in 2013, worldwide sales have more than doubled, combined with a very high capacity utilization of the production facilities in Germany and China. To enable further worldwide growth, a new plant for tertiary amines is currently being started up at the Wilmar integrated network site Gresik in Surabaya / Indonesia, with know-how from Global Amines at Gendorf.

At the GENDORF Chemical Park, Global Amines Germany GmbH employs approx. 110 people in the nitrile-amine operation for the production of amines and derivatives. Four production areas with eleven production plants and other distillation and filling plants produce amines and derivatives used for manufacture of washing and cleaning agents, cosmetics, emulsifiers, coolants and lubricats, as well as brake fluid and disinfectants.

The company Gummitechnik Kreißler GmbH (GTK) is a specialist for compression moulding, coatings and surface protection. The product range extends from the production of moulded rubber articles and special seals to the professional coating of pipelines and containers and surface protection for various chemicals. The company, based in the GENDORF Chemical Park in Burgkirchen, Upper Bavaria, was founded in 2011 and employs 14 highly qualified staff.

InfraServ Gendorf is the operator of the GENDORF Chemical Park and an expert in the chemical and process industry. With nearly 1,100 employees, InfraServ Gendorf develops and implements integrated solutions for economical and safe plant operation: from planning and construction, maintenance and plant operation to plant safety, environmental services/analytics and IT solutions. As a chemical park operator, the company offers services in the fields of on-site services, supply, disposal and logistics. About 50 young people are completing their vocational training at InfraServ Gendorf. InfraServ Gendorf Technik, InfraServ Gendorf Netze and the training academy Bildungsakademie Inn-Salzach are hundred percent subsidiaries of the InfraServ Gendorf Group.
